Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Compensation: $50–$55 per hour (W-2)
Job Type: Full-time, W-2 contract; 37.5 hours per week
Employment Term: 2025–2026 school year (option to return the following school year based on performance and district need)
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within a school district in Columbia, South Carolina for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, W-2 contract opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, benefits, and ongoing professional support in a collaborative school-based setting.
Caseload & Assignment Details
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 40 students
- Grade levels: PK–12 (placements based on experience)
- Worksite: Some positions may be split between two school locations
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Provide individual and group speech therapy services
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Valid South Carolina Educator Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) – required
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) not considered at this time
- Prior school-based experience preferred
