Location: Salem, VA

Salary/Pay Rate: $96,000 - $150,000 [Great Benefits]

Schedule: Full-time, Days (No Weekends), Onsite

Job Description: The Director of Facilities Management will provide direction and leadership for Engineering, Biomed, Security, and Emergency Management. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies (CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA), acting as the hospital's Safety Officer, overseeing financial management, managing renovation/construction projects, supervising department personnel, maintaining plant assets, and supervising quality improvement activities.


Required Skills:

  • 5 years directly related engineering experience.
  • Electrical/Mechanical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Recent Director of Facilities Management experience in a hospital setting.
  • Joint Commission experience.


Preferred Skills:

  • 3 years of management/supervision/administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Additional trade schools and related courses.
