Systems Engineer 1

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications.
  • Lead design and development activities based on system requirements and interface definitions.
  • Guide users in formulating technical requirements, propose alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical leadership in the integration of requirements, design, and technologies across the full system development life cycle.
  • Incorporate new designs and capabilities into existing systems and operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation.
  • Lead or support development of system engineering management plans, system integration strategies, and test planning documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Systems Engineering-related issues, problem resolution, and technical decisions.
  • Ensure technical integrity and quality of all Systems Engineering deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
  • 1 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Note: Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with software engineering and scripting.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and navigate issues within a Linux environment, including familiarity with CLI tools and OS-level functionality.
  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, including creating and managing virtual machines.
