We are seeking an ERP/FM Instructor, where you will deliver immersive, scenario‑based training on SAP Navy ERP and DoD financial policies, shaping the next generation of Navy budget analysts, accountants, and resource managers.
This position is remote, however candidates in the DC area are preferred. There will be up to 20% of travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate instructor‑led courses, hands‑on labs, and virtual webinars covering general ledger, budget formulation, funds execution, and journal voucher processing.
- Align courseware with DoD Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP) competencies and facilitate certification coaching.
- Leverage adult‑learning best practices—simulation, micro‑learning, and flipped classroom models—to drive retention.
- Provide individualized coaching to students and develop job aids/post‑course reference materials.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative feedback; employ Kirkpatrick Level I‑III evaluations to assess effectiveness.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to continuously update content for SAP S/4HANA migrations and policy changes.
- Serve as a functional SME during Navy ERP release‑upgrade cutovers, advising leadership on change‑management impacts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Education (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years’ formal teaching or training delivery experience in an adult‑learning environment.
- Expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules, U.S. Standard General Ledger (USSGL), and DoD FMR.
- Strong platform skills (in‑person and virtual) with familiarity in MS Teams/ZoomGov and e‑learning tools.
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly.
Preferred / Desired Qualifications
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or CGFM.
- SAP Certification (e.g., S/4HANA Financial Accounting).
