Overview:
The Analyst, Shopper Marketing Measurement will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of shopper marketing programs across in-store, online, and retail media channels. This role applies a Revenue Growth Management (RGM) lens to deliver actionable insights that optimize investment and drive business performance. The ideal candidate is data-curious, analytically sharp, and passionate about connecting marketing activation to commercial outcomes and has an understanding of how to measure the impact of shopper marketing activation on sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Measure the impact of shopper marketing programs across retail media, in-store activations, and digital commerce.
- Develop and maintain scorecards and slides that track program KPIs, ROI, and incrementality.
- Partner with Shopper Marketing, Sales, and RGM teams to align measurement frameworks with business objectives.
- Translate complex data into compelling stories and visualizations for senior stakeholders.
- Conduct post-program analyses and deliver insights to inform future planning and investment decisions.
- Leverage internal and syndicated data sources (e.g., POS, panel, retailer media platforms) to assess performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in RGM, analytics, or Shopper/CPG sales/marketing measurement.
- Experience with retail media platforms, in-store marketing tactics, and omnichannel measurement.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of CPG business drivers and retailer dynamics.
- Experience with syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Numerator) and trade promotion analysis is a plus.
