Title: Investment Specialist

Location: United States - Anywhere/ Hybrid Schedule working out of one of this company's local offices 2 days per week (do not need to live in the DC area)

Base Compensation: $80-$120K plus bonus potential and benefits

Overview:

Our client is a leading financial planning firm in high growth mode in the Washington DC metro area that is seeking for an experienced Investment Specialist. This person will help facilitate and accelerate the growth of the team that has been recognized by Forbes as a Best-In-State top financial security group. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading
• Money Movements including transfers, 401k rollovers, ACH/wires
• Tax loss harvesting
• Investment research and proposals
• Meeting with wholesalers and alternative investment specialists
• Keeping up to date on the market and new investment opportunities
• Client communication 
• Sitting in on virtual client meetings 
• Rebalancing and monitoring portfolios
• Asset location analysis
• Householding families for billing
• Assisting clients with website and investment data
• Roth conversions
• Tracking and Reporting

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in investment operations
• Series 7 required
• Investment designation preferred (CIMA, CAIA, WMCP)
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $80-120K (depending on experience and licensing) plus bonus potential
