We are seeking a skilled and reliable MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heaters, and ventilation systems.
- Perform electrical installations and repairs, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Conduct plumbing installations and repairs, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MEP Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools related to MEP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
