Early Years Practitioner
Salary From £25,396.80
4 days per week.
To support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care to children aged 0–5 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The role includes assisting in the planning and delivery of activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment, and promoting the emotional and physical well-being of all children.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Support the development of children’s social, physical, emotional, and intellectual skills
* Observe and monitor children’s progress and contribute to developmental records
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents
* Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns in line with policies
* Help with mealtimes, personal care, and hygiene routines
* Work effectively as part of a team under the supervision of senior staff
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
* Attend training and meetings as required to maintain and improve professional knowledge
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or Early Years Education and Care (or equivalent)
* Experience of working or volunteering in an early years or childcare setting
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
