We’re partnering with a leading commercial real estate company to find a Designer supporting their Hotels team on a contract basis. This role will focus heavily on the creation and production of high-end offering memorandums and marketing materials used across major hospitality real estate transactions.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in structured design systems, and enjoys bringing polish and consistency to presentation-driven work. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys typography, layout systems, editorial-style production work, and working within a fast-paced stakeholder-heavy environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and update high-end offering memorandum books and presentation materials
- Work heavily in InDesign and Illustrator across template-driven layouts
- Handle page layout, typography, tables, maps, charts, and hospitality-focused marketing materials
- Maintain strong attention to detail across large multi-page documents (typically 30–50 pages)
- Collaborate closely with brokers, analysts, art directors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, organization, and production accuracy across all deliverables
- Support the Hotels team with ongoing marketing and transaction-related materials as needed
What They’re Looking For
- Strong production and layout design skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
- Experience working on presentation materials, editorial layouts, books, PDFs, or marketing collateral
- Ability to work within established templates and design systems while maintaining a high level of craft
- Comfortable managing feedback from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality, real estate, editorial, or presentation design experience is a strong plus
- Experience with maps, charts, and information-heavy layouts is highly preferred
Additional Details
- Location: Onsite in NYC (5 days/week)
- Schedule: 40 hrs/week, standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed
- Contract Length: Approximately 4–5 months with potential to convert permanently
- Start Timing: Early July preferred for training overlap prior to maternity leave coverage
- Compensation: $60/hr W2 (Equivalent to $124,000 annual salary
- Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage included
