Job Title: Senior Analyst, FP&A

Location: Mississauga, ON (1 day onsite)

Salary: $100,000-110,000

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic finance professional to join our FP&A team. In this role, you’ll build and maintain the financial models that power business decisions, drive forecasting and budgeting, and deliver insights that help leadership shape strategy and performance.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build the Financial Foundation: Design, own, and enhance the financial models that drive the business, including integrated forecasts, budgets, and full financial statements, along with key operating scorecards.
  • Tell the Financial Story: Translate variances and financial trends into clear, actionable insights for leadership and the board, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to provide financial analysis and data-driven recommendations that guide new initiatives and improve performance.
  • Lead Innovation: Develop business cases and ROI analyses for new ventures, ensuring investments align with company priorities and deliver measurable value.
  • Advance Finance Through Technology: Use AI tools and modern data systems to automate manual processes, streamline reporting, and unlock deeper analytical insights.
  • Drive Accountability & Performance: Manage commission calculations and payouts across key business units, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Own the Data & Systems: Serve as the primary FP&A contact for financial and operational systems, maintaining data integrity and optimizing information flow into planning models.
  • Safeguard Financial Accuracy: Partner with corporate accounting to ensure internal reporting and analysis align with GAAP and management expectations.

What We Need From You

  • Builder Mindset: 3–5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance within a high-growth environment.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Financial Modeling Expertise: Proven ability to build complex, driver-based financial models from scratch that are both accurate and easy to interpret.
  • Analytical Curiosity: Strong problem-solving instincts and a natural drive to uncover root causes rather than surface-level symptoms.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • Exceptional Communication: Skilled at translating complex financial data into clear, compelling stories for non-financial audiences.
  • Agile & Adaptable: Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
  • Professional Growth: Progress toward a CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is an asset.
  • Data & Technology Fluency: Hands-on experience with SQL, BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI), and AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Agent Space).
  • Innovative Mindset: Genuine passion for AI/ML technologies and their practical application within finance.
