£23,000 – £27,000


We’re hiring a Payroll Administrator to take charge of a busy weekly payroll function for a large temp workforce. If you thrive under pressure, love getting into the detail, and want to be part of a fast-paced, people-focused business—this one’s for you.



What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Running weekly payroll for a high volume of temporary staff across multiple clients
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and timely payments
  • Managing queries from temps, clients, and internal teams
  • Keeping everything compliant—HMRC, AWR, pension, right-to-work
  • Working closely with consultants and the finance team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes
  • Supporting with audits and reporting
  • Potential to step into broader responsibilities as the business grows



What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience processing payroll, ideally within a recruitment agency
  • Strong understanding of PAYE, pensions, holiday pay, and compliance
  • Meticulous attention to detail—you spot errors others miss
  • Calm under pressure, responsive to queries, and deadline-driven
  • Confident using payroll software and Excel
  • A proactive, solutions-first mindset
