We’re hiring a Payroll Administrator to take charge of a busy weekly payroll function for a large temp workforce. If you thrive under pressure, love getting into the detail, and want to be part of a fast-paced, people-focused business—this one’s for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Running weekly payroll for a high volume of temporary staff across multiple clients
- Ensuring accurate data entry and timely payments
- Managing queries from temps, clients, and internal teams
- Keeping everything compliant—HMRC, AWR, pension, right-to-work
- Working closely with consultants and the finance team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes
- Supporting with audits and reporting
- Potential to step into broader responsibilities as the business grows
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience processing payroll, ideally within a recruitment agency
- Strong understanding of PAYE, pensions, holiday pay, and compliance
- Meticulous attention to detail—you spot errors others miss
- Calm under pressure, responsive to queries, and deadline-driven
- Confident using payroll software and Excel
- A proactive, solutions-first mindset
