A well-established logistics and distribution operation in Bristol is seeking an experienced Health & Safety and Operations Manager to lead safety strategy while overseeing day-to-day site operations. This is a pivotal leadership role within a busy port and warehouse environment, offering the opportunity to shape safety culture, improve operational efficiency, and lead a dedicated team.

The Role:

• Lead site-wide health and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to UK legislation and best practice

• Oversee operational activity across warehousing, logistics, and inbound supply processes

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, investigations and implement preventative measures

• Manage operational planning, stock control, and performance monitoring to meet service targets

• Build strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders while maintaining regulatory compliance


Person Requirements:

• NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) is essential

• Experience leading health and safety within logistics, warehousing, industrial or similar environments

• Strong operational management background with supply chain or warehouse oversight

• Confident leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational setting
