Position Summary
The compnay is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse and fulfillment operations at its Phoenix location.
This role will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory management, ecommerce fulfillment, warehouse organization, and operational process improvement across a growing industrial distribution business. The Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in building scalable warehouse processes while helping support a rapidly growing operation.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations
- Lead all daily warehouse operations in a new 15-20k square ft facility - including receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Oversee ecommerce fulfillment operations supporting all orders.
- Coordinate parcel and LTL shipments while ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Support inbound container receiving and inventory replenishment from international suppliers.
- Maintaining stock levels and inventory stock planning (we use a Sage product called Inventory Planner for this)
Inventory & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and transactional integrity across warehouse systems.
- Utilize ERP, WMS, and shipping systems to manage daily operations.
- Help improve warehouse workflows, inventory tracking, and fulfillment processes.
- Support implementation and optimization of evolving warehouse systems and technologies.
Process Improvement
- Build and implement scalable warehouse processes and SOPs.
- Develop KPIs and operational metrics focused on shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, productivity, and turnaround times.
- Create and improve reverse logistics and returns processes.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Lead and support a small but growing warehouse team including warehouse associates and supervisors.
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented, hands-on culture focused on accountability and customer service.
- Lead by example and step in wherever needed to support the operation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or operations leadership roles.
- Experience in industrial distribution, HVAC supply, plumbing supply, electrical supply, MRO, mechanical products, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting ecommerce fulfillment operations preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse systems, ERP platforms, WMS systems, and shipping software.
- Experience coordinating parcel and LTL freight shipments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, hands-on environment.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to improve workflows and operational structure.
- Experience working with international shipments and overseas suppliers is a plus.
- Forklift experience preferred.

- Reaching, extending hands and arms above shoulder and in any direction.
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
