Dental Ceramist – Huntsville, AL

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Ceramist to join our growing dental laboratory in Huntsville, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician with strong anterior contour and esthetic layering skills who is passionate about mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in anterior ceramics, including natural contouring, shading, and surface texture. This individual should take pride in creating lifelike restorations that exceed clinician and patient expectations. In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for a ceramist who enjoys teaching, coaching, and developing junior technicians to raise overall lab quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate high-end anterior ceramic restorations with precise contour, texture, and shade matching
• Collaborate with other technicians and clinicians to ensure accurate case planning and predictable esthetic outcomes
• Mentor and train team members in advanced ceramic techniques and quality control processes
• Evaluate final restorations for functional and esthetic excellence prior to delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the lab, focusing on workflow efficiency and consistency
• Maintain high standards of artistry, craftsmanship, and communication across all cases

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a dental ceramist, with demonstrated anterior esthetic casework
• Strong knowledge of dental materials, including layered ceramics and modern digital workflows
• Proven ability to teach or mentor other technicians effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality
• Must be a U.S.-based candidate; this position is on-site in Huntsville, AL

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $95,000+ annually, commensurate with experience
