Contract Controller (Manufacturing) – 4+ Month Assignment

Location: Hudson, OH (Onsite-hybrid possible)

We are seeking an experienced Controller for a contract assignment supporting a well-established manufacturing organization that also provides service solutions tied to its equipment. This role is a critical backfill for a maternity leave and requires someone who can step in quickly, get up to speed fast, and provide steady financial leadership.

You’ll partner with a team of 12–14 accounting professionals, ensuring continuity across financial operations, reporting, and internal processes.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Support month-end close, financial statements, and internal controls
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and service teams
• Step in quickly as needed to maintain continuity during transition

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Controller (or senior-level accounting leader) within manufacturing
• Strong Excel skills (advanced functionality preferred)
• Experience with major ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, Business Central)
• Ability to ramp up quickly and operate with minimal supervision
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Assignment Details:

• Approx. 4+ month contract (maternity leave coverage)
• Onsite in Hudson, OH
• Training will be provided, but responsiveness and flexibility are key
