Whether you started your career in audit or earned your degree in accounting before transitioning into FP&A, you’re someone who can bridge day-to-day financial operations with big-picture forecasting. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to leadership, providing analysis and recommendations that drive real business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
- Build dynamic financial models to assess business performance, product margins, and growth scenarios
- Conduct monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis, providing insights and clear commentary for leadership and investors
- Work cross-functionally with accounting, marketing, operations, and product to understand business drivers
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring alignment between FP&A and accounting
- Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools to drive smarter decision-making
- Prepare materials and data insights for board meetings and fundraising conversations
- Identify operational efficiencies and margin improvement opportunities across the business
Who You Are:
- 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, or a related finance role
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus but not required)
- Strong grasp of financial statements, GAAP concepts, and forecasting best practices
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; familiarity with financial systems (NetSuite, Anaplan, Looker, etc.) is a bonus
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building structure in a startup environment
- Strong communication skills — able to turn data into a narrative for non-financial stakeholders
- Passion for the beauty or consumer space is a plus
