BIM Manager – High-End Residential Construction
Location: New York, NY or Boston, MA
A premier high-end residential design and construction firm is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to support luxury single-family projects. This role requires expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), and interior detailing, ensuring seamless coordination between design and construction teams.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented BIM professional with a strong background in residential interiors, digital modeling, and project execution. This position is based in New York or Boston and offers the opportunity to work on exceptional, architecturally significant homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement BIM processes and standards for high-end residential projects.
- Manage FFE and interior detailing within BIM models, ensuring accuracy and design intent alignment.
- Develop and maintain 3D models, drawing sets, and digital coordination for all project phases.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and construction teams to streamline project execution.
- Conduct clash detection, issue tracking, and quality control to optimize project workflows.
- Train and support project teams in BIM best practices and software applications.
- Manage file organization, project templates, and digital assets to ensure efficiency across projects.
- Research and integrate new technologies and workflows to enhance digital project delivery.
Qualifications

5+ years of BIM experience in luxury residential, architecture, or interior design.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
- Strong background in FFE, millwork, and interior construction detailing.
- Experience coordinating with architects, interior designers, and construction teams.
- Solid understanding of residential construction methodologies and materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple high-end projects simultaneously.
- Experience with parametric modeling, visualization tools, and digital fabrication is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
