Senior Accountant – High Growth, Entrepreneurial Environment

Elevate is partnering with a high-growth company who is looking to add a Senior Accountant to work under an impressive Controller as the business continues to scale. This new hire will report to an individual who left Public Accounting because they wanted to help build a business and did not want to get pigeonholed into a certain segment of a company. This is a very attractive opportunity for an accounting and finance athlete that wants to see the whole picture, from operations to accounting. You will join a high energy office alongside a group of young, driven professionals who take ownership, move quickly, get their work done, and have a great time doing it.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with room to streamline and improve processes
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, and the general ledger, acting as a trusted partner to both accounting and operations teams
• Continue to build out the accounting function as the organization continues to grow, creating SOP’s and best practices
• Manage payroll operations, including processing, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the team
