Take personal ownership for consolidated financial statement prep for two large segments of this large business and work with other leaders to find ways to automate and innovate, leveraging technology to improve consolidation processes
Team up with other leaders to own the external reporting process including all new accounting pronouncement research & application
Coach, advise and mentor divisional accounting leaders as you help them apply new accounting standards and stay up to date on new trends and laws that apply to their businesses
Understand how each operating business is performing and provide narratives and footnotes to tell their stories…this is a great role for someone who excels both in written and verbal communication
