Role: Proposal Coordinator

Location(s): Hybrid schedule from any of the following Mead & Hunt office locations - Tampa, FL; Lexington, SC; Colombia, MD; North Charleston, SC; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; Madison, WI.

Established in 1900, Mead & Hunt is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm providing Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a Proposal Coordinator to work with our transportation infrastructure group.

Responsibilities:

• Developing marketing materials and content
• Driving the proposal development process
• Leading proposal kickoff meetings
• Strategizing to create marketing plans
• Identifying key publications and award submissions for the group
• Developing and managing the annual marketing plan, schedule, and budget
• Leading interview preparation
• Offering input and guidance on project and team selection for proposal pursuits
• Coordinating business development calls and providing appropriate reports
• Organizing client events
• Attending tradeshows and conferences
• Tracking client feedback and satisfaction surveys

Some travel may be required for conferences, events, and team training.

The successful candidate must have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years of relevant experience 

OR 

• An associate degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university and at least four (4) years of relevant experience

OR

• No degree and at least six (6) years of relevant experience
• Experience in architectural/engineering industry or another technical service industry is a plus

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Leading proposal submissions (RFP/RFQs) and interview teams
• Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and CRM databases (Vision or AEC360 preferred)
• Previous experience in the AEC industry: familiarity with Transportation/Infrastructure
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent grammar and writing skills required (Familiarity with AP Style Guide)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment while maintaining tight deadlines
• Proven organization, problem solving, communication, and interactive skills
• Ability to understand and write about technical issues and understand related technical terminology
