Position Overview:

Our client is a newly established, physician-led healthcare clinic located in the scenic region of Gillette, Wyoming. The clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive health and wellness services to the community by offering extended time with patients and maintaining a lower daily patient load. We are currently seeking a caring and skilled Audiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of internists, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. This role offers a traditional approach to medicine, as well as options for concierge care, direct primary care (DPC), hyperbaric medicine, regenerative medicine, and longevity-focused treatments and research. Our client uses top-tier technology and is open to adopting new tools to support your specialization.

Audiologist Responsibilities:

  • Deliver rehabilitative audiology services, perform and interpret hearing tests, create personalized treatment plans, and set patient-specific goals.
  • Track treatment progress, make adjustments as necessary, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of audiology equipment.
  • Prepare reports, manage the audiology suite, and maintain necessary supplies.
  • Communicate with patients and their families, offering counseling when needed.
  • Provide case management services and refer patients to appropriate social or healthcare services.
  • Keep accurate logs of procedures and submit billing information in a timely manner.
  • Write detailed evaluation reports and progress notes.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in audiology and provide staff and community education as needed.
  • Assist in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to build doctor-patient relationships with excellent bedside manner.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other medical professionals.
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Independence, effective time management, and clarity in communicating medical information.
  • Comfortable working with patients of all ages and skilled in preparing detailed patient evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree is required.
  • Must have an active audiology license in Wyoming or be eligible to obtain one.
  • American Board of Audiology certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience is preferred.
