Medical Director

Compensation: $315K - $465K

Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, daytime schedule, in-person, outpatient clinic setting, no on-call.

Location: Multiple Locations

We are seeking an experienced, leadership-minded physician to step into a Medical Director role within a growing outpatient healthcare and wellness clinic network. This position offers a powerful balance of strategic clinical leadership and direct patient care in a well-supported, mission-driven environment focused on comprehensive community health. Key Responsibilities

• Support and oversee daily clinic operations, driving clinical quality, operational efficiency, and continuity of care across the facility.
• Provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient primary care to a diverse adult patient population, managing both acute and chronic conditions.
• Supervise, mentor, and support advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs) and clinical staff to foster a collaborative environment.
• Partner closely with administrative and executive leadership to enhance patient outcomes, improve care delivery, and support clinic growth.
• Review and interpret labs, diagnostic imaging, and consultant reports in a timely and efficient manner.
• Lead and participate in internal quality improvement initiatives, patient retention strategies, and complex care coordination efforts.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
• Valid DEA registration
• 2+ years of prior outpatient clinical experience is preferred, though exceptional candidates will be considered
• Prior experience or a strong demonstrated interest in clinical leadership and medical directorship
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required specialty certifications
