Responsibilities
- Grow and retain a successful and creative recruitment structure
- Implement the best recruitment and retention practices and processes
- Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and responsibilities
- Conduct job analysis to determine the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed for each position
- Responsible for the recruitment cycle, including posting ads on social platforms, reviewing CV’s, phone screening, video calls scheduling assessment testing and interviews, continues follow-up with candidates
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future job opportunities by utilizing various sourcing methods, including networking events and employee referrals
- Promote a positive employer brand by showcasing the company culture and values in recruitment efforts
- Work with hiring managers to extend job offers to selected candidates
- Negotiate terms of employment, such as salary, benefits, and start date
- Create and foster a positive and friendly experience with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues (i.e., benefits, number of vacation days they are eligible for)
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, concerns, or conflicts
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management
- Conduct one-to-one meetings with employees to learn about their concerns, complaints or grievances, maintain confidentiality and ensuring a thorough and unbiased process
- Provide support and counselling to employees facing personal or professional challenges that may impact their work performance
- Conduct exit interviews to gather insights from departing employees and identify trends or issues that may need attention
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate evaluation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, employees, and hiring managers
- Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and employee counseling
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in using social media and online platforms for recruitment and employer branding
- Experience with HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment tools is a plus
- Proven experience in negotiation and managing job offers
