Salary: Up to 7,000SGD gross per month (negotiable - depending on experience and qualifications)

Work-mode: Hybrid (Friday WFH)

Shift-time: Mornings 5am to 1pm or 8am to 4pm, and afternoon 3pm to 11pm (Monday to Friday)

The Dealing team has various areas of responsibility, from monitoring and managing our large data centre installations, setting up advanced solutions with our clients, to maintaining relationships with designated clients and handling client queries on an ad hoc basis. The team is responsible for providing a variety of trade supports to both internally and externally for FX, CFDs and Equities. The team will execute trades for external clients, daily swaps with counterparties for rollover and positions and complete all post-trade execution processes. This position is both technical and business focused and gives the candidate a great opportunity to learn and experience the full lifecycle of advanced global financial trading. The successful candidate will be given full product training. 


Responsibilities

  • Support, monitor and operate our live trading platforms in a 24x5 team (London/ New York Shift).
  • Monitor and optimize our many B2B bank and client lines.
  • Configure and roll out technical solutions for clients.
  • Assist the sales team with developing business.
  • Setting up client's accounts in various systems and according to client's specifications
  • Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient trading operations.
  • Coordinate and manage the process of setting up client trading accounts, including assigning risk limits, configuring trade routing preferences (A-book and B-book), and adjusting user-specific settings.
  • Conduct daily monitoring and reconciliation of positions and exposures for both the firm's book and client accounts.
  • Execute daily swaps with counterparties for rollover and positions, marking of swaps on clients' portfolios, ensuring accurate valuation and maximize profitability.
  • Oversee exposure to different counterparties, ensuring effective risk diversification.
  • Monitor trade execution and trade matching for troubleshooting if any trade reconciliation and booking monitor.
  • Execute E-Trade and Voice transactions across various financial instruments including FX, CFDs and Equities.
  • Assist to manage the daily B-Book exposure for the trading desk, optimizing risk management strategies.


Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience and background within the financial services industry; in a FX/OTC product dealing/support role in a similar position.
  • University Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant field.
  • CMFAS certificate holder of RES 2A (previously known as 2A) and CM-SIP (previously known as 6A).
  • Experience in FIX protocol and/or MT4/MT5 is highly advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient and independent worker with good analytical skill. Excellent team-work, communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Fluency in English is essential to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the region, multilingual in Chinese or Japanese is a plus.
  • Advanced computer literacy, with the ability to navigate multiple trading systems seamlessly.
