We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join the firm’s team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple client companies across diverse sectors
  • Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns in line with Cyprus regulations
  • Handle taxation matters, including coordination with authorities and advisors as required
  • Perform reconciliations of bank, debtor, and creditor accounts
  • Liaise with clients via telephone and email to ensure up-to-date and accurate financial information
  • Manage the proper filing and documentation of accounting records and financial data
  • Collaborate closely with the audit department to ensure smooth communication and compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and other ad hoc financial analysis as needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (ACCA or CPA qualification, or ongoing studies, will be considered an advantage)
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally within an accounting or audit firm
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and taxation regulations in Cyprus
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting software
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
