Responsibilities

  • Post and process accounting entries to ensure transactions are accurately and promptly recorded
  • Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with local and international accounting standards
  • Handle VAT and VIES submissions and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Support the audit and accounting teams in delivering high-quality financial services to clients
  • Prepare reconciliations, management reports, and other supporting documentation as needed
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve queries and provide accurate information
  • Participate in periodic reviews and contribute to process improvement initiatives


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, ideally within an audit or professional services firm
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and VAT/VIES compliance
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Team-oriented attitude with a proactive and responsible approach
