Essentra is immediately hiring for a Tool Maker based in the Flippin, AR area to join our team. Reporting to the Toolroom Manager, the Tool Maker duties include fabricating, repairing, and inspecting a wide variety of tooling, including runnerless systems and controls.

What you will do:
- Construct new molds and components as required
- Provide support for injection molding manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing all tooling in a safe and orderly fashion
- Repair and maintain molds or components for molds
- Troubleshoot problems during production
- Modify molds to conform to engineering changes
- Verify conformance of machined or repaired molds to specifications by checking the dimensions, clearances, and alignments
What we look for:
Required:
- Experience with metal molds.
- Able to safely operate surface grinders, hones, knee mills, engine lathes, drill presses, saws, conventional EDM, and various fixtures
- Able to use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and various gages to inspect mold components to close tolerances
- Able to read blueprints and inspect mold components to very close tolerances
- Able to solve molding problems and improve mold design
- Able to read, interpret reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, quality management systems, and environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, handling, feeling, talking, listening, hearing, vision, and depth perception
- May require lifting up to 75 pounds
Education:
- Minimum of a High school diploma/GED (a technical certificate in Tool Making or Injection Molding is a plus, but not required)
- Four years experience building/repairing molds or running CNC equipment (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
- Requires working knowledge of injection mold form, fit, and function.
- Safety Certifications: LOTO, Machine Guarding, Respiration Program
