In this role you will be responsible for accounts payable & general accounting for Spain.

You will ensure the closing of the books is in accordance with the month end process and guidelines from Group. You will support and assist the finance team and operations in accounting matters.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices: match delivery notes, posting, resolution of issues
• General accounting: accruals, prepayments, employee expenses
• VAT reporting
• Statistical reporting
• Monthly reporting
• Back-up in other work areas within finance: banks, costs
• Participate in activities within the MCS project
• Establish and update routine descriptions / processes

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Accounting and Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in an Accounts Payable Accountant role or general accounting role
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Fluent Spanish
• Good English language skills (B2 minimum)
• Experience in manufacturing industry. (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Microsoft D365. (Desirable)

This role is based full time in our Sentmenat office (there may be potential for hybrid working after 6 months' employment).
