Overview

We are seeking a Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 - Platform Deployment Senior Consultant to support enterprise-level OpenShift deployments and platform implementation efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and managing Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.x environments and will help customers implement scalable, secure, and production-ready Kubernetes-based platforms.

This role requires strong technical expertise in OpenShift architecture, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to provide guidance and best practices throughout the deployment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.x environments
• Perform OpenShift platform installations, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities
• Support deployment methodologies including IPI and UPI installations
• Configure and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters, operators, networking, storage, and integrations
• Implement and maintain OpenShift platform components and services
• Assist customers with platform architecture, configuration decisions, and operational best practices
• Troubleshoot complex OpenShift and Kubernetes issues across enterprise environments
• Develop technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to customer teams
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support successful OpenShift adoption

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience deploying and supporting Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.x
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift cluster installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and container orchestration
• Experience managing Linux-based enterprise infrastructure, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience supporting production-grade OpenShift environments
• Ability to work directly with customers and provide technical guidance
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• OpenShift Container Platform Deployment Expert (OCP DEE) certification or equivalent experience
• Experience with OpenShift Operators and cluster lifecycle management
• Experience with OpenShift networking, storage, security, and authentication integrations
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Experience supporting OpenShift deployments in hybrid cloud, government, or highly regulated environments
• Additional Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration)
