Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a well-established investment management firm as they look to add Financial Advisors to their team all across the US. While they have physical office locations, they want you to be able to build your practice where you choose, without having to give up the full support of a robust team.

About Our Client

For over a century, our client has combined seasoned investment experience with the sound judgment that only time-tested wisdom can offer. Their unwavering commitment to doing what’s right for clients is the foundation of their success.

Serving a select group of individuals, families, institutions, and business owners, they specialize in building, managing, protecting, and transitioning wealth with integrity and precision. Their boutique model prioritizes relationships, trust, and bespoke financial solutions over one-size-fits-all strategies.

About the Role: Financial Advisor

Our client is searching for highly motivated Financial Advisors who excel at building trusted client relationships and delivering customized, comprehensive wealth management solutions.

You’ll take ownership of a growing book of business, working with clients ranging from early-stage investors to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations. Using a consultative, goals-based approach, you’ll deliver a full suite of services—investment management, financial planning, risk analysis, estate and trust strategies, and more.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven, entrepreneurial advisor who thrives in a collaborative, high-integrity environment and is ready to grow within a legacy firm that values depth of service over volume of transactions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for your clients, delivering exceptional service while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Guide clients through the full wealth management process—from discovery and planning to investment implementation and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Develop personalized investment strategies and financial plans tailored to each client’s life goals, financial situation, and risk profile.
  • Build a strong pipeline of referrals through relationships with clients, attorneys, CPAs, and other centers of influence.
  • Stay current on global markets, product developments, and economic trends to ensure the relevance and value of your recommendations.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in the firm’s CRM system to ensure transparency, compliance, and continuity of service.

What You Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management
  • A portable book of business with $250K+ in production and $25MM+ in AUM
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
  • Required licenses: Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
  • Clean U4 with minimal compliance issues or complaints
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business independently

Preferred Skills & Tools:

  • CRM systems (Redtail, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Financial planning tools (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital)
  • Portfolio analysis platforms (Riskalyze, Addepar, CircleBlack, Refinitiv)
  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven negotiation and sales acumen

Why Join?

You’ll join a firm with deep roots, forward-thinking leadership, and a long-standing reputation for doing what’s best for clients, not shareholders. You’ll be given the freedom to grow your business and fully own your clients. They will provide you with the tools to serve these clients with excellence, and the support of a seasoned team that shares your values.
