Position Overview

This role is focused on managing and expanding a portfolio of mid-size employer accounts within the group benefits sector. The consultant will drive business development, lead client renewals, and support ongoing program management. Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the renewal process for client accounts
• Conduct on-site meetings with employers and employees
• Lead program and vendor implementations, as well as ongoing management
• Expand the existing book of business and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Stay current on employer healthcare plans and compliance through continuous education and industry engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Life, Accident, and Health License required
• Experience in employee benefits account management or human resources with a benefits focus
• Experience in the 50-250 lives space.
• Professional designations such as CEBS, GBA, PHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP are preferred
• Strong knowledge of employee health and welfare plans, as well as insurance policies and policy management
• Experience with health management strategic planning is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Epic or Applied Solutions is a plus
• Willingness and ability to take on a new business sales goal near $100,000 annually
