What You’ll Own:
You will define and drive a social strategy that brings the brand to life for millions of Awesome Humans and sets a new standard for brand-led social in healthcare and beyond:
• Own the end-to-end social presence: strategy, voice, content, execution, and performance across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
• Define and drive platform-specific strategies: knowing exactly what to post, where, why, and when to maximize reach, engagement, and community connection
• Unlock content flywheel: amplify our in-house library of footage, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and lo-fi and hi-fi assets to their fullest potential across every channel
• Build a real, sustained YouTube presence: including Shorts, docu-series, and repurposed existing content that deepens our connection with the healthcare community
• Lead the development of owned and operated channels: including Substack in partnership with the narrative team, and a podcast strategy targeting our highly engaged healthcare professional audience
• Partner closely with the community team: working hand-in-hand with our ambassador program to extend reach and deepen brand authenticity
• Drive 20%+ year-over-year follower and engagement growth across platforms through intentional strategy, creative excellence, and relentless optimization
• Manage high-volume, multi-platform content calendars: prioritizing, sequencing, and orchestrating content flows across a lean, talented team and third-party contractors
• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing social team: mentoring two direct reports from day one while modeling the hands-on, purpose-driven approach that defines our culture
• Own performance measurement and storytelling: translating platform data into clear insights, creative direction, and executive-level narratives
What You Bring:
• 8+ years of experience leading social media strategy and execution, ideally within DTC, fashion, wellness, or a brand-led consumer company
• A proven track record of creating viral, sticky, culturally resonant social moments. You’ve taken brands from good to great on social and have the results to show for it
• Deep platform expertise across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with a strong point of view on how to win on each and the emerging platforms worth watching
• Experience managing high-volume content pipelines across multiple platforms simultaneously, with the organizational instincts to prioritize and sequence effectively
• A bifocal lens: equally comfortable writing copy, responding to comments, and getting into the details as you are presenting social strategy to a CEO
• Genuine passion for social media. You love it, live it, and consider it the best job in marketing
• Team management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a lean, cross-functional team without getting lost in org charts
• Strong collaboration instincts. You know how to work with film, creative, narrative, and community teams to unlock content that stands alone and together
• A sharp brand-first instinct and deep appreciation for mission-driven storytelling. You connect with the “why” behind a brand and translate it into content that moves people
• A genuine, informed POV on our social presence. You’ve done your homework, you have opinions, and you’re ready to share them
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• LA-based (or willing to relocate) with availability for meaningful travel to store openings, brand activations, and key brand moments
