District Partners is partnering with a private equity-backed advisory group supporting an international operating entity that is actively strengthening its accounting and reporting infrastructure. They’re seeking a hands-on Accounting Advisory Consultant to step in, stabilize the accounting function, support audit readiness, and ensure full IFRS compliance.
This is a high-impact role with strong visibility across both U.S. and international leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to evolving environments.
What You'll Do:
- Stabilize and support the day-to-day accounting function for an international entity
- Lead audit readiness efforts, including preparation and organization of supporting documentation
- Ensure financial reporting is fully aligned with IFRS standards
- Identify gaps in accounting policies and implement improvements
- Partner with internal teams and external auditors to drive an efficient audit process
- Build scalable processes and documentation to support ongoing compliance and reporting
- Provide clear reporting and insights to leadership across multiple geographies
What You'll Have:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
- Strong IFRS experience, ideally within accounting advisory or public accounting
- Background in audit, technical accounting, or financial reporting
- Experience working with international entities or cross-border operations
- Fluent in Portuguese (required)
- Ability to operate in fast-moving or ambiguous environments and create structure quickly
Duration: Minimum 3 months (with potential to extend)
Location: U.S.-based with periodic travel to Rio de Janeiro (travel expenses fully covered)
