District Partners has partnered with an international accounting advisory firm expanding its U.S. presence. This firm partners with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and mid-market enterprises to strengthen finance organizations and address complex accounting and reporting challenges. As part of its continued U.S. growth, the firm is seeking a Senior Director / Director to help expand its CFO Advisory and Finance Transformation practice.

This role combines business development and engagement delivery, working closely with private equity firms, portfolio company CFOs, and enterprise finance leadership teams.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support advisory engagements across areas including:
• Finance transformation and accounting operations improvement
• Technical accounting advisory (ASC 606, ASC 842, complex accounting matters)
• Financial close and reporting optimization
• Internal controls and SOX readiness
• IPO readiness and public company preparation
• Carve out accounting and finance function stand ups
• Developing relationships with private equity firms and portfolio company leadership
• Building and maintaining a pipeline of advisory engagements
• Leading client engagements and overseeing delivery teams
• Supporting the growth of the firm’s advisory practice in the U.S.

What You'll Have:

• 12+ years of experience in Big 4 advisory, accounting advisory firms, or finance transformation consulting
• Experience working with private equity backed companies or mid-market enterprises
• Strong relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and finance leadership teams
• Experience both selling and delivering advisory engagements
