Job Title: Chief Information Cyber Analyst Officer
Location: Huntsville, AL (On-site up to 5 days/week)
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (Full-Time, with relocation assistance available)
Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Cyber Analyst Officer to support a key Army program in Huntsville, AL. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep experience in both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, especially within military or government contexts. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight and hands-on expertise in cybersecurity, Zero Trust architecture, and IT/OT integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & CIO Functions:
• Align IT/OT strategies with organizational and mission-critical goals
• Lead planning and execution of initiatives such as IPv6 adoption, Windows 11 migration, and Zero Trust implementation
• Oversee secure integration of IT and OT infrastructures including SCADA, ICS, and industrial control systems
• Advise senior stakeholders on risk posture and cybersecurity strategy
Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
• Manage the full RMF lifecycle for Army and DoD systems (categorization, implementation, assessment, continuous monitoring)
• Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, DoD, and Army cybersecurity standards
Policy Development & Regulatory Oversight:
• Analyze and interpret regulations and directives impacting IT/OT environments
• Develop and maintain internal cybersecurity policies aligned with federal standards
• Support implementation of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) initiatives
Incident Response & Reporting:
• Support the development and execution of incident response protocols
• Analyze post-incident findings and integrate improvements into security practices
• Maintain up-to-date security documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and C&A packages
Assessment Analysis & Presentation:
• Analyze results from Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs), Black Start Exercises (BSEs), and other assessments
• Provide actionable insights and present findings to senior leadership in clear, concise formats
Collaboration & Mentorship:
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement IT/OT best practices
• Mentor junior cyber staff and promote a culture of cybersecurity excellence
Required Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8+ years of IT/OT experience with 3–5 years in a senior or CIO-level role
• Expertise in RMF, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, ICAM, IPv6, and Windows 11 deployment
• Hands-on experience securing OT systems and control environments
• Strong policy development and team leadership experience
