Location:

This is an in-office/warehouse role based in Northlake, IL, USA.

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Shifts may vary; overtime, nights, or weekends as needed based on business demand

Compensation

• Range $18-$19 (depending on experience)

About the Job:

As a Forklift Operator I, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, load, and unload products within the warehouse. You’ll support daily warehouse operations by maintaining accuracy in inventory and ensuring products are handled according to safety and quality standards.

In This Role, You Will:

• Operate forklifts and related equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Safely handle products including palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and transactions.
• Support warehouse organization by staging, racking, and replenishing products.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including manual loading/unloading.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Desired:

• Current forklift certification.
• Experience working in food-grade, hazmat, or temperature-controlled warehouses.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
