We're seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager to be embedded with our client's engineering team, driving the development of our revolutionary scheduling and point-of-sale system.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders, translating market needs into product features that solve real problems for salon owners and technicians. You'll have the opportunity to shape a product that transforms how merchants operate, enhancing both the business operations and customer experience.
As Senior Product Manager, you'll influence the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, working within our product operating model to deliver exceptional value to our users.
Core Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling product roadmap that aligns with company objectives and addresses market needs within the beauty industry, particularly nail salons.

User Advocacy: Conduct in-depth research with salon owners, technicians, and customers to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and desires. Translate these insights into prioritized feature sets.

Technical Partnership: Work seamlessly with engineering teams as an embedded product leader, participating in technical discussions, sprint planning, and implementation decisions to ensure product requirements are effectively executed.

Feature Development: Define comprehensive product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that balance business value, technical feasibility, and exceptional user experience.

Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics and user feedback to validate product decisions, measure product success, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Industry Expertise: Become an authority on beauty industry operations, particularly nail salon workflows, scheduling complexities, and POS requirements specific to this vertical.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of progressive product management experience, with demonstrated growth in responsibility and product complexity.
- Strong experience with product operating models and agile development methodologies.
- Technical familiarity with software development processes, allowing for effective partnership with engineering teams.
- Experience in SaaS products, with POS systems or scheduling software experience highly desirable.
- Exposure to the beauty industry or similar service-based retail environments is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable product decisions.
