2306 Payments Planning Manager

Duties: 

  • As a Payments Planning Manager, you are responsible for planning and reporting on large-scale programs and projects that support the strategic operational goals of the Payments organization. In this role, you work cross-functionally to enhance productivity and efficiency through clear communication, the execution of a robust roadmap governance framework, and a commitment to continuous planning and reporting—including goal setting, priority alignment, and performance tracking. 
  • By empowering the global community and supporting teams, you help transform operations and drive excellence in business-critical processes.
  • Ability to review complex process and procedure documents with attention to detail to identify potential issues, inaccuracies, or areas of risk and develop tool based solutions.
  • Assess and anticipate risks associated with projects, change management, and ensure creative and effective mitigations are available.
  • Support the Payments Business Ops team to define, launch, and execute various strategic and operational projects.
  • Extremely strong and proven ability implementing and executing a product team governance framework, including strategy, framework and tooling 
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, providing expert guidance and solutions 
  • Deliver world-class customer experiences with empathy, clear communication, and timely problem resolution 
  • Contribute to knowledge resources, helping others get the most from Airtable Stay up to date on new features, educating the team on best practices


Skills: 

  • Strong and varied experience with Airtable and passionate about optimizing business workflows Skilled communicator—both written and verbal—adaptable to diverse audiences 
  • Analytical, resourceful, and creative in solving complex technical challenges 
  • Naturally curious and motivated to continually learn and exceed expectations Deep knowledge and experience using collaborative project management tools and processes (e.g. AirTable, JIRA, Google docs, scrum, agile) Proficient with tools like Salesforce, Confluence, G Suite; knowledge of relational databases, REST APIs, and formulas is a plus

 

Education: 

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in business or technical field or equivalent job experience 
  • Strong understanding of software product development processes and methodologies Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment

The hiring range for this position is $90 to $100 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
