In the role of Sr. Software Developer within our Data Acquisition Team, you'll be harnessing the power of Python to enhance and automate the scaling of our data aggregation initiatives. Your expertise will significantly shape our top-tier web scraping infrastructure and the associated internal mechanisms. Leadership and mentorship will be key components of your role, as you set the standard and champion best practices across our engineering divisions.

Your Contributions:

- Develop and refine data acquisition frameworks using Python, alongside other contemporary programming languages.

- Craft internal interfaces and analytical tools, employing JavaScript and Python, to streamline interactions with our data aggregation processes.

- Engage in peer code evaluations to enhance code quality and consistency.

- Work collaboratively with an accomplished cohort of developers, data analysts, product strategists, and industry specialists.

- Transform technical specifications and designs into secure, efficient applications and services.

- Uphold and advance software quality by adhering to established coding standards, thereby ensuring code readability and maintainability.

Your Professional Background:

- Over 5 years in software development roles.

- Collaborative spirit with a proven track record of successful teamwork.

- Effective time management skills with a clear focus on objectives.

- Openness to seek guidance and clarify uncertainties.

- A pragmatic approach to addressing and resolving unexpected challenges.

- A relentless drive for continuous learning and self-improvement.

- Proficient in Python.

- Skilled in JavaScript.

- Competent with HTML and CSS.

- Familiar with Git or equivalent version control systems.

Distinguishing Factors:

- Proficiency in Scrapy or similar Python-based web scraping frameworks.

- Experience with Neo4j or comparable graph database technologies.

- Familiarity with project and issue management tools, like Jira.
