Job Description:
We Are Seeking a seasoned SAP Lead ABAP Developer to oversee ABAP development activities and provide technical support for SAP systems and integrations with SuccessFactors and various third-party platforms. This senior-level position involves leading a development team and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance and maintain an enterprise-level SAP system. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in ABAP development and functional knowledge across multiple SAP modules, with experience in public sector environments being highly valuable.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of ABAP developers to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
· Develop, enhance, and support custom ABAP programs using Object-Oriented Programming.
· Provide integration support between SAP and external systems, including SuccessFactors Employee Central.
· Collaborate with functional teams to design and implement technical solutions in areas such as Finance, Logistics, CRM, HCM, MDM, and Supplier Relationship Management.
· Perform root cause analysis and resolution of SAP development system issues.
· Support data migration and synchronization between SAP and third-party vendor systems.
· Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal stakeholders and public sector employees of varying technical levels.
· Work closely with analysts and business users to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
· Document all technical solutions and development processes.
Required Skills:
· Minimum 8 years of hands-on ABAP development experience, with strong Object-Oriented ABAP expertise.
· Functional knowledge in at least three of the following SAP areas:
· Finance (FI)
· Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
· Logistics (LO)
· Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
· Supplier Self Services (SUS/ROS)
· Master Data Management (MDM)
· Human Capital Management (HCM)
· Minimum 4 years of experience working on SAP operational systems for public sector clients.
· Minimum 2 years of experience providing training or technical knowledge transfer to public sector staff
