Title: Inside Sales Representative

Location: Houston, TX or Greenville, SC (In-Person / On-site)

Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities


As an Inside Sales Representative at Giga, you will help manage inbound sales opportunities, create accurate quotes, and support the broader sales organization with pricing and product guidance.


  • Qualify inbound and assigned sales leads by understanding customer pain points, goals, and technical requirements
  • Manage and respond to RFQs, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with customers via phone and email
  • Generate accurate quotes using internal tools based on technical specs and product fit
  • Analyze bid documents to ensure alignment with Giga’s products and manufacturing capabilities
  • Partner with Application Engineering to develop technical content and pricing for more complex opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM for full sales team visibility
  • Provide sales support to Account Managers, Outside Sales, and Business Development teams
  • Build strong customer relationships and uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle


Is This You?


  • 1+ years of experience in sales, sales support, or quoting—especially in a technical or B2B environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
  • Comfortable interpreting and communicating technical specs
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and responsive in documentation and quoting
  • Familiar with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce or similar)
  • Tech-curious and comfortable learning new tools and systems


Ideal Candidate


  • Experience in B2B or technical product sales
  • Familiarity with electrical infrastructure (transformers, switchboards, modular data centers)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • Experience working closely with engineering or technical teams
