Title: Outside Sales Representative

Location: Must be located in or near San Francisco/Bay Area

Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

As an Outside Sales Representative at Giga, you will lead business development efforts across your assigned territory—cultivating distributor relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring great customer outcomes.

  • Build and manage relationships with electrical distributors, channel partners, and key decision-makers
  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities within your region
  • Represent Giga’s full product suite and educate partners on technical features and value
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to ensure smooth delivery
  • Attend and represent Giga at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and customer records in CRM
  • Deliver feedback from the field to inform product and sales strategy


Is This You?

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or field account management
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas or KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to build trust and influence decision-makers
  • Self-starter who can manage time and territory independently
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (50–70%) and in-person engagement
  • Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar)


Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in technical B2B sales or with electrical distributors
  • Familiarity with transformers, switchboards, or modular data centers
  • Background in electrical engineering or industrial product sales
  • Knowledge of utility, data center, or renewable energy markets
