Responsibilities

The Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Taking end-to-end ownership of the in-browser radiology application, from design to implementation, testing, and monitoring.
• Shipping reliable, user-friendly features using TypeScript and React.
• Collaborating directly with radiologists and clinical staff to understand requirements, prototype solutions, and validate features.
• Improving application quality, reliability, and performance, including automated testing and graceful error handling.
• Partnering with backend engineers to deliver new features and enhance overall system performance.

Is this you?

• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining complex, highly interactive single-page applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and related frontend tooling.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with deep understanding of frontend abstractions.
• A product engineering mindset with a bias toward shipping iteratively and talking to users frequently.
• Comfort taking full ownership of projects and delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), Instant Web Apps (IWAs), or Chrome Extensions.
• Familiarity with Wasm, Web APIs, or Chrome APIs.
• Experience profiling and optimizing SPA performance using Chrome DevTools or similar.
• Full-stack experience, ideally with Python/Django.
• Knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, or healthcare environments.
