The Role


They’re looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team of 12. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial hands-on role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of their web applications while actively contributing to the codebase. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and drive the technical direction of their projects.


Is this you?

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, managing project timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Remix and NextJS (ideally 5+ years).
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and Javascript.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience building with and deploying to AWS/GCP.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • You quickly learn new concepts, and you easily pick up new skills.
  • You love challenges, and persist when problems become complex.
  • You’re passionate about politics and increasing government transparency. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role
  • Knowledge of Python, FastAPI and Pydantic
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch and experience in implementing search functionality
  • Experience with DevOps practices, along with an understanding of security best practices and performance optimization
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform
