We’re growing quickly and are hiring our content marketing leader to accelerate our reach and help more families and teachers discover KaiPod. This is a high-impact role where you’ll build the content engine that fuels the growth and nurturing of our audience. This role will own the full funnel—from high-impact content creation to optimizing search, paid, and email channels—with a clear focus on driving lead volume, not just brand visibility.

You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and have strong ownership over both strategy and execution, helping us engage parents, educators, and other key stakeholders in our community. Come join us and play a key role in building a household brand in modern education!

What you’ll do:

  • Build and manage a content creation engine that delivers high-value assets (e.g., lead magnets, parent resources) designed to increase lead generation
  • Own SEO strategy and execution, including AI-optimized content to maximize discoverability and ranking
  • Grow and manage our paid search efforts, with an eye toward ROI and scale
  • Optimize email nurture flows and manage monthly newsletters across our core audiences
  • Oversee community engagement, particularly in organic channels like Facebook parent groups
  • Own our social media calendar and day-to-day posting strategy


Toolset & Experience

  • Proficient in WordPress to manage site updates and SEO
  • Experienced with HubSpot for CRM, email workflows, and marketing automation
  • Comfortable building systems from scratch and iterating quickly based on results
  • Strong analytical instincts and a test-and-learn mindset


What we’re looking for:

  • Proven success in driving scalable B2C of B2B growth — you know what it takes to engage with and nurture people through a multi-step funnel, especially when their ultimate decision is high stakes (ie - where to educate your child, or build a career)
  • Player/coach mindset — you're strategic and analytical, but also hands-on and excited to execute
  • Creative and intentional thinking — you’re not just building content for content’s sake, it’s based in data and strategy (and is still creative!)
  • Self-starter energy — you take initiative, move fast, and thrive in startup environments with lots of autonomy. We pride ourselves on setting clear expectations and trusting our team to achieve their goals.
  • Data-driven decision making — you track, analyze, and iterate with a sharp eye for performance
  • Early-stage startup experience — you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and building from scratch, no task is too small or large to tackle
  • Bonus: Experience marketing to parents/families (or strong adjacent experience in B2C education, childcare, health/wellness, etc.), especially experience successfully resonating with this demographic with strong conversion statistics. Our teachers are solo-prenuers, and while you’ll be creating content for them as well, we find that they function more similarly to a B2C audience.
  • Bonus: Experience with content strategy, newsletters, community-building, or brand storytelling


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $120,000 - 170,000 plus equity in the company
  • NOTE: We are open to two different levels for this role, one more junior, the other more senior. Depending on experience, title and salary will adjust accordingly:
  • Content Marketing Manager: $120 - $145k + equity (this role would report into the Head of Growth Marketing)
  • Head of Content Marketing: $145 - 170k + equity (this role would report into the CEO)
  • Monthly benefit stipend for all employees to spend as makes the best sense for their health needs
  • Full remote role (within the US, current team is spread across EST, CST and PST time zones)
  • Some travel (~1/quarter)
