Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments (FTL, LTL, air, and expedited freight)
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates and resolving delays
- Source and negotiate capacity with carriers when needed
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, PODs, customs paperwork, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company standards
- Handle escalations and proactively troubleshoot service issues
- Maintain accurate records within TMS/CRM systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain (brokerage experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with TMS platforms and load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) preferred
- Basic understanding of freight modes (truckload, LTL, air freight, expedited)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed (some after-hours coordination may be required)
