General Manager – Be the Operator Behind a Fast-Growing Equipment Dealership


We are partnering with a top 5 equipment dealership in the Midwest to hire their first General Manager. This is a newly created role designed to bring structure, accountability, and financial oversight as the business continues to scale. Join a growing dealership that is looking to expand operations across the state of Nebraska and potentially expand to other locations throughout the Midwest. This is a high-impact opportunity to step into a leadership role where you can build processes, shape culture, and directly influence the growth and profitability of the business. The organization is committed to scaling and needs a strong operator to help bring that vision to life


  • Oversee daily operations across a couple locations, including service, parts, and administrative teams
  • Lead budgeting, financial analysis, and profitability tracking across departments
  • Drive accountability, performance management, and follow-through across the team and implement processes and operational structure where little currently exists
  • Partner with ownership to ensure buying/selling decisions are aligned with profitability goals
  • Manage inventory to ensure the right mix of equipment is on hand to meet demand


Our client is searching for a hands-on, gritty leader who is comfortable building structure from the ground up. This company is small enough that you will have an opportunity to move the needle each day, but large enough to give you complex projects and it will allow your role to expand and evolve as the company grows. You’ll need to be a confident communicator with the ability to hold others accountable and have tough conversations to drive the business forward.
