As our new Project Accountant & Office Controller, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while supporting the people behind the projects. This isn’t just accounting - it’s about building trust, finding solutions, and contributing to work we’re all proud of.

 

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be at the financial heart of our projects and operations. You’ll work closely with project managers, field superintendents, vendors, and leadership—bringing together the details that keep everything running smoothly and transparently.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Setting up and maintaining job-specific project files, including subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Collecting subcontractor paperwork and tracking compliance
  • Processing subcontractor billings and ensuring accurate, on-time payments
  • Collaborating with our team to prepare monthly client billing based on hours, materials, and project progress
  • Handling payroll and maintaining employee records with care and confidentiality
  • Managing general accounts payable and supporting financial operations for a few of our affiliated entities
  • Supporting leadership with financial tracking, reporting, and insights to help us make smart decisions and stay on course


You won’t just be plugging in numbers - you’ll be helping us build trust with clients, operate with integrity, and find solutions that move projects forward.

 

Who You Are

  • Experience in construction or project-based accounting (QuickBooks proficiency preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
