Compensation: $189,000 to $250,000, with bonus potential



Exentec Exhaust and Abatement business unit, formally known as Airgard and Fab-Tech is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Business Development to lead and drive our sales efforts for corrosive exhaust systems and point-of-use scrubbers. This role is pivotal in expanding market share across the semiconductor, industrial, and wastewater sectors. The ideal candidate will manage a team of six Regional Sales Managers and oversee strategic sales operations in North America and Europe.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of five Regional Sales Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution - Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the semiconductor, industrial, and wastewater markets.
  • Market Expansion - Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry leaders in target markets.
  • Team Performance - Set performance goals for direct reports and provide continuous coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement - Act as a primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Reporting & Analysis - Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses for executive leadership.
  • Provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within North America and the European Union.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture that promotes accountability and results.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal closures with high-value clients.
  • Monitor KPIs to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with 5+ years in in a leadership role, preferably within the semiconductor, industrial, or wastewater sectors.
  • Strong understanding of corrosive exhaust systems, point-of-use scrubbers, or related technologies
  • Demonstrated success in leading geographically dispersed teams and managing multi-million-dollar revenue goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Up to 50% within North America and Europe
