Job Title: Vice President of IT Operations

Overview:

Career Staffing Talent (CST) is hiring a Vice President of IT on behalf of a leading national law firm. This is a hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA, responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, service delivery, and cybersecurity compliance across a multi-office environment.

We’re looking for an experienced IT executive to lead a team of 30+ professionals and ensure operational excellence, user satisfaction, and technology scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily IT operations: infrastructure, software development, enterprise applications, and service desk.
• Drive system uptime, data security, scalability, and performance across all offices.
• Collaborate with the VP of User Experience to enhance service delivery and end-user satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC, HIPAA, and GDPR; lead incident response planning.
• Track and report operational KPIs and implement service improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing IT team.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
• Align IT strategy with business goals and present updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years in IT operations leadership (law firm/professional services preferred).
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure, WAN, virtualization, enterprise software, and end-user computing.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methods.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• CISSP or similar certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Hybrid schedule: Tuesday–Thursday onsite in Philadelphia, PA.
• Occasional travel required.
• Flexibility to work after hours when needed.
